Tinytongs Review: Love it!

With three children under the age of five, Carys Bice decided she needed to come up with a better solution for her children and mealtimes. I know my son struggled constantly with a fork and spoon that he would either not eat or he would use his fingers.

Bice invented the Tinytongs for kids ages 12 months to 5 years old. I think it is a great invention and my boys love it! At about 5 inches in length and with a non-slip grip, the Tinytongs, are basically tongs but kid-sized. My boys use them for chicken nuggets, fruit, and other small bites of food. They actually really get a kick out of using them when we have Chinese food, as they think they are like chopsticks!

We have been using Tinytongs for a few weeks now and overall we like them. I can see how some parents might think the Tinytongs would stunt kids from using proper utensils, but I am happy when my boys use anything other than their fingers. If the Tinytongs work for them, it works for me!

Tinytongs also come in a variety of colors: pink, purple, orange, and green. You can also rest assured that they are safe as they are Lead free, BPA free, and Phtalate free. Best of all, they are dishwasher safe, although I end up hand washing them because the kids want to use them everyday!

BUY IT: You can buy Tinytongs online and at speciality children’s products stores nationwide for $7.99
