Remove Allergens with LYSOL – Review & Giveaway (Ends 5/10)

With the beginning of Spring in full swing, that also means allergy season is here. For outside allergies, there are tons of medicines to take but not many people, myself included, think about inside allergens. Well LYSOL is one product that can now help control indoor allergens to help keep your family healthy year-round!

I actually never really attribute allergies to coming from inside my house; however, did you know that the same allergens are found on surfaces inside 75 million homes across America? Actually according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), some of the most common indoor allergens include dust mites, mold and household pets.

Some easy ways to reduce allergy suffering in the home include:

· Reduce Pet Dander – Decrease your exposure to pet dander by keeping your pet out of your bedroom, since this is typically the room in which people spend a majority of their time.

· Wrap Things Up – Put fabric covers over common dust mite hideouts such as pillows, mattresses and sofa cushions and wash bedding often.

· Clear the Air – Prevent pollen from entering your home by keeping windows and doors closed during peak allergy

· season. Air filters are also considered useful for helping clear the air of lingering allergens triggers.

· Wipe Down Surfaces – Be sure to frequently clean hard surfaces to get rid of allergens in your home. Use LYSOL Disinfecting Wipes to remove 90% of pollen particles and dust mite debris, in addition to killing 99.9% of illness-causing bacteria. Also use LYSOL Disinfectant Spray to kill the source of mold allergens on hard, non-porous surfaces.

· Avoid Mold Spores – To help reduce mold: use an air conditioner in humid climates and avoid the use of humidifiers in dry climates. Also, run the bathroom fan or open the window when showering.

· Talk to Your Doctor – It is important to talk to your doctor about whether or not allergy testing, medications, and/or other measures are recommended.

MY THOUGHTS:

I was sent some LYSOL Disinfecting Wipes and a can of LYSOL Disinfectant Spray to try out around my house and they both are awesome! I actually never considered the LYSOL wipes before but they are quite useful. Now I can just carry the container around with me and pull wipes for each room, without carrying around a spray bottle and rag. I used these to wipe down my bathroom, kitchen counters, and really all over. The LYSOL Disinfecting Spray I found to be useful on door knobs and to just spray in the air by surfaces that I don’t necessarily need to wipe down. I especially like using it on our mattresses, couches, garbage cans, and diaper pail.

So not only am I preventing the spread of illnesses including the flu, common cold, and infectious diarrhea, but I can also prevent allergens including mold and mildew. I still can’t believe all the benefits I get from LYSOL spray and wipes, and it makes my job protecting my family easier!

Also, one other thing I did not know is that LYSOL Disinfectant Spray comes in 7 fresh and clean scents as well as various sizes. The LYSOL Disinfecting Wipes 4 in 1 comes in two scents and three sizes.
