Boots

Submitted by Cher on May 23, 2010 – 7:59 PM4 Comments

My husband is not a boots type of guy but he does prefer them for winter activities and chores.  I never really paid attention to what boots he wears and honestly I think he has had the same pair since before we were married.  He really only uses them now for snow shelving and outside work.  You see my husband works at a desk job so he wear dressier shoes during the day and gym shoes at night.  He is pretty boring with his shoes and luckily is happy with only two or three pairs.  He also wears his shoes until they are falling apart, which I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing.  Good I guess because it saves us on constantly buying shoes or bad because wearing ratty shoes probably is not good for his feet.

I do know though that work boots are especially important if you have an outside job or even work on your feet all day.  My dad is a roofer and he goes through boots like crazy but that is also because he doesn’t listen to me when I say he should buy a nice pair of boots that will last instead of throwing out a cheap pair every few months. A good pair of boots is especially important for support, durability and safety.

Other than work boots there are also motorcycle boots which I think are really important for motorcycle riders.  They protect that part of their legs and feet and they complete the whole motorcycle look.  One brand that is pretty popular is twisted x boots.  There are lots of styles available and a type to go with whatever your personality!  I don’t know much about boots, but I saw some awesome styles to pick from for both men and women.
