MY THOUGHTS:

At first I thought that the bat defeated the purpose of my sons learning how to hit a ball, then I realized how amazing it really is! Before a child can hit the ball, they really need to know how to swing a bat and hold it steady. The E-Z Bat is perfect to start off with and kids really build up strength and confidence with it. Since the “ball” was already on the bat, my sons would swing and see how far they could get the ball. They would swing and the ball would go behind them and they learned about foul balls or the ball would go only a few feet and after a while they were really hitting the ball out of the yard.

The bat is so lightweight and my sons can do it on their own, which at their ages 2 and 3 years old, they don’t want my help but usually need it! Now they can put on the ball and swing themselves. When they are ready I can take the stopper off and use the bat like a regular bat. So it definitely grows with the child and with my two boys it is pretty durable too! It is made of foam on the outside so it is softer and not a hard bat, perfect for kids!
