After achieving award-winning success with their Superstructs line of building toys, WABA Fun launched three new styles called Arc-A-Teks. Superstructs are vibrant plastic rod and connector style construction toys that feature safe, durable EVA foam panels that ‘pop’ between the rods and joints. MY THOUGHTS:

We have the original Superstructs but I will say they are a little complicated for my son’s to follow the directions. They do love their original Superstructs but they don’t build the cars that actually correspond with the kits, they more so just build whatever they’d like. With Arc-A-Tek’s they can follow the directions a little easier and the models you build are made with fewer pieces. My sons really get a kick out of seeing what the creatures look like and then playing with them that way! (They are pretty cute as shown below!) You can take them apart then and build whatever you want and when done store the pieces in the nice plastic bucket it comes with! I also love that they bucket is small enough that I think I am going to bring it with us to a restaurant or similar next time to occupy my boys! The pieces also snap together very easily, although taking some of them apart is a little tough, but I think the pieces just need to be broken in a little bit more! The kit also comes with two trading cars featuring the characters you build and easy to follow picture instructions.
